Welcome

Falmouth & Penryn Welcome Refugees aims to help people whose lives have been devastated by war and climate change.

OUR AIM

Falmouth & Penryn Welcome Refugees formed in April 2018, inspired by a collective wish to help some of the people whose lives have been devastated by war and conflict around the world.

Our Charitable Aims:

  1. To resettle families fleeing war and climate change within our local area via the Community Sponsorship scheme, and to support them to achieve financial and social independence within their new community.
  2. To help existing refugees living in the local area via additional educational and social opportunities.

Big enough to be well served by public transport links and offer a range of educational provision, but small enough to ensure a warm and familiar community to gather round the families, we feel that the Falmouth and Penryn area is extremely well-suited to resettlement.
